Biscayne National Park – Access Denied

The National Park Service just slammed the door in your face.

When developing their General Management Plan for Biscayne National Park, they made provisions for scuba divers, snorkelers, boaters, and other recreational users – but fishermen are being locked out.

This unfounded decision was made despite strong objections from the state of Florida and the recreational fishing community, who agree that this closure won’t improve the fisheries in the park and will only serve to keep the public from enjoying these public waters.
