Keep Florida Fishing’s new “Keys Family Vacation” video to promote fishing and tourism
#FloridaKeysNOW ensures that the Keys remain the perfect destination for your next family vacation
(TALLAHASSEE, Fla.) – Keep Florida Fishing® (KFF), an advocacy arm of the American Sportfishing Association, today debuted the second video in its series promoting the Florida Keys. Sponsored by KFF and produced by Up Down Productions, ‘Keys Family Vacation’ encourages new and returning visitors alike to plan their next family vacation at the epicenter of the ‘Fishing Capital of the World’ – the Florida Keys.
“The ‘Keys Family Vacation’ video highlights why the Florida Keys are the perfect destination for your next family vacation and showcases the Keys as a whole – their beautiful hotels, unique charters, and, of course, a fishing experience like no other place in the world. We hope this encourages out-of-state visitors, as well as Florida residents to visit this beautiful destination so they can experience the Florida Keys first-hand,” said Gary Jennings, Director of Keep Florida Fishing.
“Our first video in the series, ‘Fishing in the Keys’, showed that the Florida Keys are without a doubt open and ready for business. Now, we’re showing the world that the Florida Keys is hands down the best location for a family vacation,” said Kellie Ralston, Southeast Fisheries Policy Director of the American Sportfishing Association.
In 2016, visitors to Florida spent $111.7 billion in the state, which supported more than 1.4 million tourism jobs. Keep Florida Fishing represents Florida’s more than three million anglers who generate $9.6 billion in economic impact, support more than 128,000 jobs and contribute $53.3 million to Florida conservation efforts.
